The iCS121 is a linear current sensor ICs provide an economical and precise solution for AC/DC current sensing. It integrated the high accuracy hall sensor and senses the AC/DC current that flow in the primary current conductor, than converter the current magnitude to a voltage scale proportional. And it can operated in bi-directional.
The galvanic isolation between the primary current conductor and the secondary sensor made it suitable for the high/low side current sensing, and easy to used. Only 1.2 mΩ primary conductor resistor provide the very low power consumption loss compare to the traditional current shut method.
The high speed response time (<1μs) made it suitable for the WBG(Wide-Bandgap) power device application. And the small footprint can using in the space-constrained system.
